Loeffler and Perdue stick with McConnell, put their stock portfolios ahead of suffering Georgians

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is still holding the nation hostage, after more than six months, in exchange for a huge corporate bailout. He is steadfastly refusing adequate assistance to state and local governments, to the unemployed, to the hungry, to everyone while insisting that there must be a six-year liability shield for corporate America, for companies like Tyson to be able to literally get away with murder.

Georgia Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are right there with McConnell, because of course they are. They are as corrupt as he is, and will be looking toward their corporate pals and, of course, their stock portfolios. They’re selling out hurting Georgians to protect their own bottom lines.

Had enough of GOP corruption? Give $4 right now to fire Perdue and Loeffler, two of the most corrupt Republican senators, in January.

We need all hands on deck to win the Georgia Senate runoffs on Jan. 5, and you can volunteer from wherever you are. Click here to see the Georgia volunteer activities that work best for you.

They also need to stay on McConnell’s good side to keep the money flowing to their runoff campaigns. McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund and American Crossroads PACs are flooding Georgia, accounting for 45% of all the outside spending in the races and outspending Democratic groups 2-1. Then there’s this—the fundraising McConnell’s doing personally with stinking rich people who can afford to pay the maximum campaign donation for one event.

That’s who Perdue and Loeffler are in this for—themselves and the ridiculously wealthy people who know their patronage will keep the bucks flowing to them. There couldn’t be a larger contrast between them and Democrats Jon Ossoff and the Rev. Raphael Warnock.
