The world and the country looked on in disbelief by the way Trump and JD Vance attacked President Zelenskyy for defending his country against their vicious pro-Putin assault.

Now to make matters worse, the Trump/Musk White House are demanding a full frontal public apology in view of their cameras by President Zelenskyy.

Peter Doocy relayed their demand on Fox News.

“I have been told by a senior official here that nothing’s going to happen with this minerals deal until Zelensky goes in front of cameras and makes an explicit public apology for the way that he behaved himself, behaved in the Oval Office with that meeting, Doocy said.

I’ve watched the entire 10-minute exchange during Zelenskyy’s meeting and if anyone needs to apologize, first and foremost it’s JD Vance. That hillbilly asshole needs to get in front of the cameras and apologize for lecturing a president like a child still fighting an unprovoked war against a Russian aggressor.

Vance stuck his nose into the conversation by acting the prissy snowflake and demanded Zelenskyy should be grateful he has even been given an audience with TrumpJesus.

The next apology should be by Demented Donald for yelling at Zelenskyy and telling the Ukraine president that his country is weak, they have no cards, they’ve already lost and they should be thankful they’re even talking to him at the White House.

As Conover wrote that day, “It’s as if Donald gave Putin a blowie in public.”

What’s just as disgusting is the many MAGAts scumbags that will go on TV and defend Trump and Vance’s behavior and turn Zelenskyy into a villain when he was just trying to get them to explain what they are doing.

(The S.E.C. last week said memecoins wouldn’t be subject to regulatory oversight.) “This is getting egregious,” the software developer Nikita Bier replied to Lonsdale’s post. “Every 2 weeks there is a kickback to the family. Completely delegitimizes all the work DOGE is doing.”

Others questioned whether David Sacks, the investor who is Trump’s crypto czar, also stands to benefit from such a reserve. Sacks wrote on X that he had sold his cryptocurrency holdings, but didn’t address any holdings his investment firm has in crypto start-ups. Sacks will chair a first-of-its kind crypto White House summit on Friday intended to discuss ways to spur innovation and growth in the sector.

Ottawa will immediately levy retaliatory tariffs on a whole host of American goods as payback for Trump’s attempt to wreck the Canadian economy, Trudeau said. Via CBC.ca:

To start, Canada will slap 25 per cent tariffs on $30 billion worth of American goods coming into Canada as of Tuesday. The tariffs will then be applied to another $125 billion worth of American imports in three weeks’ time.

“We don’t want to be here, we didn’t ask for this, but we will not back down in standing up for Canadians,” Trudeau said.

The prime minister said American liquor like beer, wine and spirits, vegetables, clothing, shoes and perfume will be among the first items to face Canadian retaliatory tariffs. Canada will also put tariffs on American consumer products such as household appliances, furniture and sports equipment.

Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told CNN that the White House felt disrespected by Pres. Zelensky’s body language, which made them end their meeting, ignoring the fact that Trump and JD Vance ganged up on the Ukrainian president to surrender to Russia.

Trump has blamed Ukraine for starting the war with Russia and called Zelenskyy a dictator while cooing in Putin’s ear.

WALTZ: You know, for us, talking about the details and demands of security guarantees before, as President Trump said, look, I don’t know that we can get both sides to the table at this point.

And, you know, you can’t kind of trash the other side going, you know, litigating through the history of this conflict if we’re going to bring both sides to the table.

And so, further, coming to the Oval Office, you know, with the body language, the shaking of head, you know, the kind of, the arms crossed, we just, we found it incredibly disrespectful.

We were ready to sign that deal. I want to address directly that this was some type of ambush, is absolutely false.

We had negotiated the minerals deal in the weeks prior.

It was difficult, but it was done and finalized and ready to be signed in the East Room..

If the Trump administration was actually serious about negotiating a true deal peace deal they would not care about anyone’s clothes, facial expressions, or body language. This is not a child’s game. We’re talking about millions of lives lost and still at stake.

Trump and Vance were offended because of a shake of the head?
More lies. That’s all they do.

J.D. Vance tried to go on a skiing vacation in Sugarbush, Vermont, but it turns out 3,000 of his best friends–fans of democracy and opponents of vicious Russian dictators and their lackeys in the White House–were waiting ready to boo, heckle, jeer and flat-out chase him out of Vermont.

After that pathetic, soulless, suck-up performance by J.D. Vance has never accomplished a thing beyond kissing Peter Thiel’s ass to pocket tons of dough, lying about his upbringing and betraying his country for power, so he wouldn’t understand someone like Zelesnky, willing to sacrifice everything for his country.

Maybe he should stick to vacationing in safer spaces, like, say, rural Arkansas, or Vladivostok.

One of our favourite Coldplay songs is “Viva La Vida” – with its nod to Frida Kahlo, its lavish strings, its rotation and roar, its bells and history, and its heel-thumping singalong harmonic personality. It means “Long Live Life” and was released in 2008.

Our version takes the sense of history, the pain, the trauma, and the notion of world rule, and applies it to the most disgusting media spectacle to date – with already several to choose from – of the new US administration. Like many around the world, as well as disheartened friends in the US, we watched the undignified ambush of Zelensky’s trip to the White House with dismay and pity. It was a very unbecoming sight – just at a human level – even without all the higher stakes, deals, implications, and nightmares unfolding as another win is handed to Putin, and more pressure placed on Ukraine.

Like many we are hoping for a miraculous path forward that can somehow turn Trump’s intensity into an outcome that can transform into a lasting peace – but given how misdirected the fury and energy and narrative is at the moment, it’s quite hard to see it turning out other than a quickfire US withdrawal of support. If that happens, we’re in a cowardly new world.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is demanding answers from U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi over whether she is facing a probe for hosting a “Know Your Rights” webinar as the Trump administration pursues mass deportations and other attacks on immigrants.

“I write to request clarity on whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) has yielded to political pressure and attempts to weaponize the agency against elected officials whose speech they disagree with,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) wrote a letter she made public on Friday.

“Over the past two weeks, ‘Border Czar’ Tom Homan has gone on multiple forums threatening political prosecution against me, citing resources I distributed informing my constituents and the American public of their constitutional and legal rights,” she noted.

Ocasio-Cortez—who has publicly stood up to Trump’s border czar—wants a clear response from Bondi by March 5. She pointed out Thursday that “it has been 14 days since Mr. Homan first threatened to weaponize your agency, but I have not yet heard any referral from the federal government. Homan’s actions undercut core constitutional rights and further transparency is necessary.”

The president and his allies have long accused Democrats of weaponizing the DOJ for efforts to hold the Republican accountable for mishandling classified materials and trying to overturn the 2020 election, which culminated in him encouraging supporters to storm the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, an attack that did not reverse Trump’s loss and resulted in multiple deaths.

The congresswoman’s letter quotes the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and highlights that Vice President JD Vance recently claimed that “we may disagree with your views, but we will fight to defend your right to offer it in the public square.”

She then argued that “Mr. Homan’s repeated attempts to use your agency to politically intimidate duly elected officials are a textbook threat to the right to free speech in the United States. Threatening criminal proceedings for exercising the First Amendment is itself a violation of the First Amendment.”

“Educating the public about their rights, especially in a time of rising uncertainty, is a key part of our responsibility as elected officials,” Ocasio-Cortez added. “A government that uses threats of DOJ investigations to suppress free speech is a threat to all, regardless of political ideology.”

Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, gave her reaction to the disastrous and destructive meeting at the Oval Office with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, Donald, and Vice-President J.D. Vance.

On MSNBC they discussed Crockett’s apology to the world:

Crockett said that at first Republicans tried to change the facts about Russia’s invasion, saying, “We don’t live in a world of alternative facts, trying to change the reality of who invaded who.”

She tore into the focus on Zelenskyy’s clothes during wartime, saying, “Now, maybe this is because Trump never wanted to serve his country. And right now, the only service that he’s giving to the U.S. is driving our country apart.”

“When you’re at war, you’re not worried about your outfit,” she said. And if Zelenskyy “was walking around in fancy suits, I’m sure they would accuse him of taking our dollars and spending it on his wardrobe, and being more concerned about that.”

“This is a no-win situation when you’re walking in with someone who has decided to align himself with a dictator thug,” she continued.

She spoke of how Donald hoarded “our national security secrets” at Mar-a-Lago, and the “next thing you know, his son-in-law was getting a lot of money from the Saudis.”

“As far as I’m concerned, he’s an enemy to the United States,” Crockett said. “He swore an oath just like the rest of us. But right now, when you are literally putting us at risk – all because of what? Because you want to convince your followers that you should be a dictator, too. That you should never leave the White House because you don’t believe elections should take place.”

“I don’t really understand what’s going on, and I don’t know what it’s going to take to get people to wake up,” the Texas Democrat added. “We are not living in a safe country.”

As Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy said, “The White House has become an arm of the Kremlin,” and he’s not wrong. Co-President Donald Krasnov Trump wrote yesterday that we “should spend less time worrying about Putin, and more time worrying about migrant rape gangs, drug lords, murderers, and people from mental institutions entering our Country – So that we don’t end up like Europe!” Well, Europe is stepping up since the U.S. folded as its president performed public fellatio on Putin in the Oval Office. Trump is no longer the leader of the Free World.

We are in deep shit right now, and we need more Jasmie Crocketts, and fewer Fettermans.

The Vermont senator told Meet The Press that Musk’s comments were outrageous and false since Social Security has been paying its responsibilities for 80 straight years.

WELKER: Well, let me ask you about Social Security and you you raise Elon Musk senator. So let me follow up with you on this very point because he’s made some very pointed comments about Social Security. I referenced it earlier in the broadcast. This was to Joe Rogan. I’d like you to hear it and get your reaction on the other side.

MUSK: Social Security is the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time. Basically people are living way longer than expected and there are fewer babies being born. So you have more people who are retired and get that live for a long time and get retirement payments so the future obligation. So however bad the financial situation is right now for the federal government, It’ll be much worse in the future.

WELKER: Senator, President Trump says he’s not gonna touch Social Security. Elon Musk calls it a Ponzi scheme.
