Gabbard's Opening Statement Is Lit 1

As I have said a few times, I am an enthusiastic supporter of Tulsi Gabbard to be the Director of National Intelligence.

She and Kash Patel face the most difficult tasks of all of Trump’s senior appointments, both in getting over the finish line of Senate approval and reforming the agencies they are tasked with rebuilding.

JFK is being opposed by Big Pharma–a formidable foe with trillions of dollars to back up their power. Patel and Gabbard face an even more formidable set of foes: the intelligence community, whose tendrils of power extend everywhere.

Gabbard went into the hearing with guns blazing, just as Patel did with his. What stood out to me was her direct attack–even before the questioning began–on the lies and smears she would face and the Democrats who would be pushing them.

Everybody in Washington knows that the intelligence community is filled with bad actors (as well as plenty of good ones, to be clear) who will not hesitate to destroy their opponents. It includes the deepest of the Deep State actors who will not hesitate to take on and try to destroy anybody whom they see as a threat.

Don’t take my word for it. Here is Chuck Schumer saying it about how the Deep State was going to destroy Trump for challenging them.

Schumer is very clear: even a president is not immune from the dirty tricks and manipulation of the intelligence community if you cross them, and Trump’s political career has been a perfect example of that claim being 100% true. They have fought Trump every step of the way, using every propaganda tool, every bit of their technology, their ties to other intelligence agencies abroad, and their deep connections to powerful people throughout government to take down Trump.

Gabbard’s appointment is his answer. I can’t say whether she can tame the beast, but as somebody who has been a target herself of the machinations of the IC she certainly will be motivated.

The accusations against Gabbard are simply ludicrous, as she outlines in her opening statement, and the fact that every Democrat lines up to do the dirty work of the IC old guard tells you where their loyalties lie. It is not the Constitution–that’s for sure. The IC should not be in the business of opposing the president, setting policy, spying on Americans, lying to Congress and the American people, and running a shadow government.

The Democrats are defending the IC largely because the IC, since at least Obama’s term, has become one of their attack dogs–and vice-versa. They have made very clear that their view of how the Republic should be run is ruled by technocrats and Democrats. They will lie, smear, create hoaxes, and undermine our Constitutional order to get and maintain power.

Kash Patel and Tulsi Gabbard are the two biggest threats to the Deep State, and they are going all-out to defeat them both. RFK, Jr.’s threat to Big Pharma is profound, but in the end what is at stake is only money, and there are plenty of ways to skim money off the top of the nation.

Patel and Gabbard are a greater threat to the Deep State: their very existence and power.

It’s no mystery why the nominees who frighten the establishment the most are Hegseth, RFK Jr., Patel, and Gabbard. The first two threaten the flow of money to the elite, and the second two threaten their power based.

They should be scared of all of them. Which is why I support each of them.
