We keep being warned by the fine folks at MSNBC that Donald Trump and the Republicans are a bunch of authoritarian bullies bent on destroying our Constitutional order and replacing it with a fundamentally anti-American regime. Trump is destroying the important norms that have kept our country great and strong and a beacon of hope to the world.

And yet we are also informed with great passion that America sucks, that all white people are evil and have a plan to kill all brown and black people and that we need to decolonize America. 

I would say that I get whiplash from the sudden reversals, except I no longer do. These people aren’t exactly clowns, because at least some of them have a strategy behind this, but they are anything but what they claim to be. They are propagandists whose job it is to enrage the dispossessed, stroke the egos of those who firmly believe in their right to rule, and who enjoy seeing hate spewed at the people they hate and fantasize about killing. 

If you think that last statement is hyperbole, it isn’t. These are the people who celebrate Luigi Mangione, rue the fact that Thomas Crooks didn’t have better aim (he had remarkable aim, hitting Trump’s head despite being under enormous pressure, and only failed to kill Trump by an accident of fate), and celebrate a regime led by a racist who chants about killing white people.

There is nothing more thrilling to leftists than imagining to kill their enemies and celebrating those who do. Many liberals, who accept wild interpretations about Elon being a Nazi when he says he is throwing his heart out to his fans and who talk about stochastic terrorism, turn around and embrace actual murderers and approve of actual calls to kill people. 

Geez. 

Liberals twist themselves into knots when actual terrorists and gang members get deported, then call for Elon Musk to be deported. They open the borders then demand that all efforts to ensure only citizens vote be eliminated to ensure that democracy is not sullied. 

I don’t mind that liberals get it wrong. I get it wrong sometimes, and I truly do believe that many center-left people want what is good for this country. But I do get angry at the cope, the embrace of cognitive dissonance, and the outright hypocrisy. When liberals go crazy crushing our liberties and then are proven that they were wrong all along, they don’t apologize or learn from their mistake.

They claim “good intentions.” Screw your good intentions. Not only did we tell you so, you insulted us, restricted our liberty and even our right to object to the COVID restrictions, and will do it again because you don’t respect the rule of law, the right of dissent, the agency of others, or ever doubt your right to push others around. 

I see lots of talk about restricting my rights to speak and never once an objection to liberal excesses. I see constant recourse to the authority of proven liars–I am to bow down to every news organization that proclaimed that videos of Biden were “cheap fakes,” ran scathing “fact checks” insisting that COVID absolutely, positively could not have been cooked up in a lab and it was racist to suggest that, that children were resilient so closing schools was the right thing to do, that children would kill themselves unless we chopped off their genitals, and a host of other lies. 

You MUST take that vaccine to stop the spread of COVID. Oh, it doesn’t stop the spread of COVID? You actually have a greater chance of getting COVID the more vaccines you take? Then I never said any of that, and if I did I had good intentions, so suck it up.

Nope. “Experts” agree with those who butter their bread, and “journalists” are often liars. 

I suppose Elie Mystal’s desire to make unconstitutional every law passed prior to the Civil Rights Act null and void makes sense. After all, laws against murder, arson, rioting, and all the tactics of his preferred political activists were passed prior to then. How can you “kill the Boer” if you might go to jail and be oppressed?

Mystal–and many so-called liberals–openly say that they want those gang members here. After all, most of the people they terrorize are whites, and this is a good way to decolonize America. 

Which again is a stunning example of hypocrisy. Migrants have to be allowed in because their countries are intolerable. Also, we should do everything we can to ensure that America becomes intolerable. Let Tren de Aragua turn America into Venezuela. It serves us right.

Lefties–before you lecture us about anything having to do with violating “norms,” clean up your own house. Stop the Tesla terrorists–you won’t even denounce them. Stop the riots on campuses. Stop the Alinsky tactics. Stop funding all this chaos through your oh-so-virtuous contributions through ActBlue. 

I am willing to listen to people who mean what they say and have an argument. I can get it wrong, and I know it. But hypocrites who only say things they don’t mean? Why should I care? Nothing said by anybody who doesn’t mean it is worth the breath it took to say.
